Perfect Strangers
This slapstick comedy centers around the relationship between Balki Bartokomous, a young sheep-herder who has migrated from the Mediterranean island of Mypos, to find his cousin Larry Appleton, a hyper, single
photojournalist. The show stars Mark Linn-Baker and Bronson Pinchot.

Wow, that's great!! Just out of curiosity, how did you get this info so I know this is for real? Also, will TV Land Canada be able to air it?

Now is Tv Land going to be airing Perfect Strangers on a daily basis, or will this just be an occasional thing? Because I know a few people who emailed Tv Land about Archie Bunker's Place coming back, and they said Tv Lands response to them was that they have no plans to bring it back. Do you know how often there planning to play P.S.?

I also live in Kentucky and get PS on the WB two episodes each weekday morning... It's weird that you don't get it...Do you get the WB? It's good to see PS back on national tv!

12:30AM Perfect Strangers (replaces continued Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman)
1:00AM Welcome Back, Kotter (replaces the moved Fernwood 2Night)
1:30AM Square Pegs (replaces The Monkees)

My stupid cable company dropped the WB right before they started airing it...stupid <censored>

Hold on...1 show a week...It's only the fact that I've seen all of 5 eps in the last 10 years (bad timings for me ususally) that is keeping me from going into an uproar (Heck, Hallmark channel put ALF in the toilet but still cranks out 2 airings weekly...)

2 episodes a week, one on Friday night and one on Saturday night, part of the TV Land Kitschen. Fri/Sat 12:30am e/p effect. Aug 2.

If it's gonna be on for only 2 nights a week, then it'll take them over a year to show the whole series, right? That seems like a long time ...I hope they DO show all of the eps!! The big problem I have is that I live in Canada and was hoping that TV Land Canada would show this series. Please tell me they will!! If not, I'm left hopeless...

TV Land Canada is not airing it. They will have the same schedule until Sep 2, the Sept 2 and on schedule has been posted in the Drama Section here.

I read the TV Land/Nick at Nite message boards on AOL a lot, and sources there say that TV Land has limited rights to some of the Screen Gems shows, meaning that they can only air certain episodes and a certain number of episodes for a certain amount of time. Unfortunately, I think that "Perfect Strangers" and "Just The Ten of Us" are included. So I doubt they will be able to air the whole series :(

I think they will only show the first 30 or 40 episodes like The Waltons. The Waltons, Perfect Strangers, Head of the Class, Just the Ten of Us, and Welcome Back, Kotter, are part of the WB Deal though, not Screen Gems. So maybe they will show all of them, but I doubt it.

All I can say is that it's better than nothing! :)

Whoops, I messed up with that (which is common for me), lol, sorry :D And it also looks like the same goes for "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman," since it's leaving the TV Land Kitschen. I can still hope for it to be on weekdays or something, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

well that sucks..nothing tonight. TVGUIDE was WRONG!

This is excellent! I was in New York for 2 weeks and i caught the show on a local channel. I didnt want to leave because I didnt have the show where i live and i didnt know it was gonna be on TV land till i saw it tonight. i was flippin through channels and saw the last 15 minutes of it! the one thing they could do to make it one step better is an earlier timeslot. but still its great!

does TVLAND ever post the correct time schedules? i want to record these eps in order,but they're so wishy washy..

It aired on time. 12:30am EASTERN/PACIFIC. Friday and Saturday nights.

You are not alone. I constantly have to wait as long as about 2 hours to watch a TV land show I want to watch. My local cable system said it would air at 11:30 Chicago Time. It was on at 11:30 Chicago time. Good old Chicago timing!

Okey, i love Perfect Strangers. I think it marks the last leg of decent TV sitcom. I would like to know if anyone has any tapes of the series they would like to give away, sell, whatever. I don't have any cable in my home cuz TV has gone to :eek: (very bad things) in the past few years. I still love PS, and would just love it if someone could copy any tapes they maybe have made in the past, or any they are currently making. I'd like this stuff for me and my daughter... If you can help, PLEASE respond to this!!! Thanks!
