I am watching an episode of Walker Texas Ranger and in one of the scenes that was featured in the episode starred singer Dionne Warwick and she was singing part of a cover of The Carpenters hit They Long To Be Close To You and so I would like to know if Dionne Warwick has the cover of They Long To Be Close To You on any of her albums? I also found that she sang a new version of I Say A Little Prayer on Walker Texas Ranger too and that version is on her Dionne Sings Dionne album
Is Dionne Warwick's version of They Long To Be Close To You from one of her albums and where could I find a copy of the song in it's entirety?

I finally found Dionne Warwick's cover of The Carpenters song They Long To Be Close To You that she sung on Walker Texas Ranger and it appears to be from her album Make Way For Dionne and when I listened to it I thought Dionne Warwick did an awesome job on the song and it's great too

"(They Long to Be) Close to You" is a popular song written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David. It was first recorded by Richard Chamberlain and released as a single in 1963 as "They Long to Be Close to You", without parentheses. However, it was the single's flip side, "Blue Guitar", that became a hit. Although Richard Chamberlain recorded the first version, the tune was also recorded as a demo by Dionne Warwick in 1963 and re-recorded with a Burt Bacharach arrangement for her 1964 album Make Way for Dionne Warwick, and was released as the B-side of her 1965 single "Here I Am." Bacharach released his own version in 1968. But the version recorded by The Carpenters is the best known, which became a hit in 1970.
