Who was your favorite bromance on "Hill Street Blues"--Officers Bobby Hill and Andy Renko (Michael Warren and Charles Haid), or Detectives Neal Washington and John "J.D. LaRue (Taurean Blacque and the late Kiel Martin)?

It was a very close call, but my favorite bromance on "Hill Street Blues" was Hill and Renko...as far back as the premiere episode, they had a definite chemistry together. Washington and LaRue were okay, but their friendship was often hindered by LaRue's "extracurricular" activities, as well as his powerful inner demons (particularly with his battles with alcohol--Kiel Martin was a recovering alcoholic, as was his "Hill Street Blues" co-star Daniel J. Travanti), both on and off the job.

Who was your favorite bromance on "Hill Street Blues"? Drop me a line...I'd love to hear from you! Enjoy your day, everyone!

Thanks for commenting, Alan Brady's Hair! Hill and Renko were definitely good for a few laughs here and there, amid the overall grim nature of "Hill Street Blues."

Washington and LaRue for sure.

Liked Bobby and Andy too though.
