You know with Food Network being a huge hit with many people on here a forum section devoted to cooking shows would be wonderful and fans could talk about the old cooking shows like Julia Child's show and The Frugal Gourmet and many of the Food Network cooking shows because I like learning new recipes from cooking shows and so a forum devoted to cooking shows would be awesome
Please take this idea into consideration

new forums are generally created based on existing thread/posting activity - the more posts/threads about a show or topic, the more likely it is that it will get its own forum.

in the meantime I would suggest posting treads on cooking/cooking shows in the All Other TV Shows forum and see how much interest it gets http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=425

On the Food Network I used to watch the original oriental version Iron Chef shows. Then after awhile the Food Network removed those shows and replaced them with their own "american" version Iron Chef, I watched a few of those shows and then I stopped watching because I thought they were basically garbage compared to the oriental version.

I'd like to see the oriental Iron Chef shows again, those were a lot of fun. I don't remember their names, but they had a chef in a red outfit, one in a blue outfit, and one in a yellow outfit. Then after a few years I think the chef in the blue outfit retired and was replaced with a new chef who wore a silver outfit. I think Morimoto is the one who wore the silver outfit, that much I can remember. My favorite chef was the one in the blue outfit, I was always happy whenever he won the battle. :lol:

As you know I love to cook and sometimes watch cooking shows to learn about new recipes and foods and I think we should have a cooking shows forum added so we can talk about our favorite cooking shows and it would be wonderful and marvelous to have
