How did Spencer and Carly ever pay rent or have money for bills and food and other stuff? His art certainly never seemed to make any money and he didn't have another regular steady job. And Carly never seemed to earn any money either, she was just doing the Internet show for fun. Did their dad send them money regularly? Was that ever stated on the show? I don't remember anything like that being said. Because that was a big apartment in Seattle with a downstairs and an upstairs area so it couldn't have been cheap! Anybody else have any ideas?

the best part is that Spencer never told him that he dropped out of law school - so dad still thinks he's working hard to become a lawyer... at least that's how I remember it (its been awhile)
