1992 marked the debut of an addition to the Lifetime TV game show block with Born Lucky and Born Lucky was hosted by former Entertainment Tonight host Bob Goen and featured contestants doing stunts and challenges for the grand prize of a shopping spree at their local malls and Born Lucky was filmed in many malls around the country but Season 1 of Born Lucky was filmed at the famous Glendale Galleria mall. Reruns of Born Lucky also were shown on PAX TV for a short time. It seemed that Lifetime had such a fun hit with their game show block and with shows like Supermarket Sweep Shop Til You Drop and the short lived game show Rodeo Drive the addition of Born Lucky was a surprise hit
