There will be nothing beyond Season 2 for "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders". CBS has cancelled the spinoff, starring Gary Sinise, Alana De La Garza and Tyler James Williams.

This is now the second failed "Criminal Minds" spin-off following "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior" which aired in 2011.

The drama, about a division of the FBI that helps American citizens who find themselves in trouble abroad, never achieved close to the ratings success of mothership series "Criminal Minds", which was renewed for Season 13 in April.

This season, "Beyond Borders" averaged 5 million weekly viewers and a 0.8 rating, down 28 and 33 percent from its freshman run.

The final two episodes air Wednesday, May 17 at 9/8c.

it just doesn't seem realistic to assume that a Criminal Minds spinoff is going to work no matter how hard CBS tries to turn it into a franchise-success like CSI.

I liked the cast and it was a pretty good show, but there wasn't anything about it that grabbed my interest over time.

The series finale (http://forums.previously.tv/topic/57606-s02e12-abominablee13-the-ripper-of-riga/?do=getLastComment) of Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders on May 18 ended (http://forums.previously.tv/topic/26328-anticipation-beyond-borders/#comment-3292120) with an emotional, heart-tugging scene and a beautiful prayer acknowledging our Creator and honoring our country and those who fight for it in the Armed Forces.
