I found a country singer named Julie Roberts and she was signed to the Mercury Nashville label and she released a song called Break Down Here that was her first single and then she released the album Men And Mascara that had a song called Paint And Pillows that was released as a single as well but since then I haven't heard any new songs from Julie Roberts or a news of a new album. It seemed that Julie Roberts was gonna be the top artist in Country music but then after the release of her second album Julie Roberts suddenly disappeared
Was Julie Roberts dropped by Mercury Nashville due to poor sales of her second album? And is Julie Roberts still releasing new albums on another record label?

Julie Roberts is one of my all-time favorites. Yes, she was dropped from Mercury after poor sales of her sophomore album.
She released the indie album Alive in 2011. In 2013 she auditioned for The Voice, but sadly didn't make it past the audition rounds. That marked the moment that I stopped watching that show. She was then signed to Sun Records and released Good Wine & Bad Decisions in the Fall of 2013. She also released a Christmas LP Who Needs Mistletoe in 2011.
She's very active on Facebook posting updates about her life. She is still making music, but several years back she was diagnosed with MS so mostly tours the country at speaking engagements regarding that. I was able to meet her once after a show and she truly is a sweetheart.
By the way, Paint and Pillows was never released as a single.

Also, if you order any of her CDs from her website, they will come signed (and personalized to your name, if you wish). She also sells very reasonably priced autographed 8x10s. This past Christmas she sold guitar-shaped ornaments that she signed and included a handwritten thank you note with each order. She really goes above and beyond for the fans.

She is a singer who has not been on the radio in years.
God bless you and her always!!!
