All great choices among the many, many ones I'm familiar with!! Excellent taste as it mirrors my own (hee hee).

I didn't realize that Dwight Twilley had hits back then -- I always think of his '80s stuff.

I'll add just a couple of songs for '75:

Rhiannon - Fleetwood Mac
Fly Away - John Denver with Olivia Newton-John

Thanks I'm glad you like the choices. '75 was a great year for hit songs. The mid 70's, '73 to '76 were especially great years.

I'm On Fire by Dwight Twilley is a great song, it wasn't a huge it but it had some airplay on the top 40 stations back in the day.

Rhiannon is included in my list for 1976. Fly Away didn't make my list but I have other John Denver songs on the lists and several tunes by Olivia Newton John also.

One comment about vinyl 45's, they are fun to collect but occasionally the record companies would put edited versions of songs on the 45, if you wanted the full version you had to buy the album. Sometimes the edited version is OK and acceptable, depending on the song and what was edited out.

One of the dumbest vinyl 45 edits is the song Dance With Me by Orleans. The full version of the song runs about 3 minutes and 20 seconds, but Asylum Records trimmed it down to 3 minutes on the 45 by editing out part of the instrumental break in the middle of the song. Totally ridiculous. I ended up having to purchase the european/import pressing of the 45 because that one has the full complete version.
