If Claude "The Retiring Milkman" was on the same route for 32 years, Where did the neurotic Fulton "We've Been so Happy Till Now" come from? As well as Norval on Seasons 4 "George's Man Friday" who was getting Hazels beau Al Dewitt a job delivering milk? There also was a milkman on a season 1 BW episode...not sure of his name but Hazel borrowed his truck to chase fire engines!

I was puzzled by that too in the episode. Maybe they were finishing Claude's routes for him. It was pointed out in the episode that Claude often ran late. Granted it's a bit of a stretch. On a less serious note, he could have come from what I call the Land of Characters Who Were Never Mentioned But When They Appear Everyone Seems To Know Them. George's brother, Steve, is one such character.
