"Dr. Ken" and 2 More Comedies Canceled at ABC

In addition to "Dr. Ken", ABC has also axed comedies "The Real O'Neals" and "Imaginary Mary".

"Imaginary Mary" averaged 3.6 million viewers and a 1.0 in the demo.

This isn't too surprising! Having Jenna Elfman post-Dharama & Greg star on your show, is immediate poison. And plus, it pretty much had a one-joke gimmick (it was basically Drop Dead Fred: The Sitcom but with an imaginary CGI bear giving grown woman bad relationship advice) for its premise.

Yeah it was garbage, I think the premise would have worked as a feature film but as a weekly series you're asking too much from the viewers to suspend belief.

I didn't watch it, but I saw the ads on TV and thought, "Do they really think this is gonna be a hit?"

It's puzzling that there are actually people out there who think that she can be big or a draw again. Maybe she'll be a better fit in ensemble and not be the focus of the show.

Awww, that is horrible this show is cancelled. I enjoyed watching the first season. I hate when they cancel shows I like.
