ABC Renews "Modern Family" for Two More Seasons

ABC has ordered two more seasons of its flagship sitcom "Modern Family".
ABC also announced that the show could go beyond its 10th season.

Why can't it go 9 like The Middle? That way it couldn't last longer.
Heck (no pun intended), it should have stopped at 8 seasons!
Modern Family isn't even funny to begin with and should just end already.

No, it's pretty mediocre but it's still their top scripted show.

That would mean a tie with Scrubs and the U.S. version of The Office for the longest-running single-camera comedy series on U.S. broadcast network television. I guess they didn't want such a tie, hence the reason for Modern Family's 10th-season renewal, and I'm fine with that, whether S10 is announced as MF's last or not.
