I know The Facts Of Life had more lyrics!

Also Punky Brewster! Growing Pains! Family Ties! A lot of shows I never knew their theme songs were like 2:30-3min long and then chopped down to around 50 secs to a minute!However nothing on DS! Also Silver Spoons and Gimme A Break! I wonder if there are more lyrics to those theme songs--Mr Belvedere even!



Is there anyone who knows if there were more lines to the theme song as if it was made into a radio song like those others or like how Girl Meets World or Fuller House did their theme songs and then edited them down to so many seconds for their intro---

This is my take I did on the theme to make it into a fuller song that's 2:30 long!




Like for example--



Now the world don't move to the beat of just one drum
What might be right for you
may not be right for some

Then along come 2 they got nothing but their jeans
But they got
Diff'rent Stokes it takes
Diff'rent Strokes it takes
Diff'rent Strokes to move the world

(few seconds of music go by)

then more lyrics would follow in the same tempo as the above stanza that could have been taken out of the theme song)

then

Everybody's got a special kind of story--


then an instrumental break


Then maybe the last few lines of the song!




Does anyone know if the theme song was "edited down" from a longer version with more lyrics or was that it!


I know the French version of the song is like a 3 minute song or so and has more lyrics than this one!
