I hear Sinclair will be making big changes to WGN America. They will also have control of Antenna TV and This TV. I just hope they will eliminate the horrible credit crunch on Antenna TV. Then again, Antenna TV and This TV may get replaced in some markets with other Sinclair stations like Charge and TBD.

The channel that broadcasts Antenna TV in my area is owned by Tegna.

My Antenna TV is a FOX affiliate.

My Antenna TV affiliate in Memphis is WREG CBS 3. It was owned by Local TV LLC when Antenna launched in 2011 then was bought out by Tribune in late 2013 and will now be bought out again by Sinclair.

My Antenna TV is also is also owned by a Fox affiliate (Fox 59 in Indianapolis), but Fox 59 is owned by Tribune. The other channel Tribune owns here is a CBS affiliate.

I would imagine Sinclair would look at the success of any of its digital services vs. Tribune's, and keep whichever are most successful.

I agree with thebigcookie: I hope those horrible credit crunches go away, on both Antenna and This (if they are kept). And any changes they make to WGN Amer. would have to be an improvement.

The latest news is that the FCC rejected the merger, and it's called off. Tribune is supposedly going to file a lawsuit.
