I know this topic is morbid and I don't mean to make it anything that it should not be, but I have noticed that David Bowie put out an album of songs and died only two or three days after it was released. It had been a few years since he had recorded an album, or that is my best understanding. However a lot of music-commentators have said that the songs seem to be stating that the singer knew that his time is coming and if you listened to the songs in the few days that he was still alive after the album's release you would not completely understand the meaning.
It is apparent that Bowie knew he was sick and about to depart this earth. I for one got a sense of subtle suspicion since I had not heard of him doing anything music-wise in years.

Another celebrity who very much did the same thing was Andy Rooney who was a commentator on the TV show "60-Minutes" for many years but he decided to give a last comment and announce his retirement (and he was well past his 60s) and then only a few days after he retired, he passed.

It seems that he too might have known his time was coming.

I hear that the actor who played "Sylvester" in "It Is A Mad Mad Mad Mad World" died suddenly and very ironically while on stage telling jokes and acting as if he were dying. It was only after the audience noticed he fell to the floor and was not moving for a while that they noticed that something actually happened to him.

Recently, "Megadeath" drummer Nick Menza died while performing on stage.

Sometime a few years back, Actress Valerie Harper had out-rightly announced that she had only a few months to live because she had cancer, but the appearances she made on TV to "say goodbye" to her fans and everyone else, and the magazine interviews she gave , turned out to be unnecessary (thankfully), but there is news that though she seems to have gotten better and have lived longer than doctors and she herself originally thought, it is still a matter of "when" not "if."

Florence Henderson died unexpectedly since she had no illness previously.

How many other celebrities had these such incidents?

Redd Foxx, When he reported to work on the set of The Royal Family on Oct 11, 1991 he thought he had a touch of something; he wasn't feeling well. During rehearsals for the series eighth episode he collapsed and died at age 68.
