Most of the posts are negative on this board, which makes me wonder if anyone enjoyed it when it first aired or does not mind watching it now.

I've been watching it lately and it's not terrible, but it's not Three's Company, which I think was probably why everyone goes into TAC with a bad attitude (me included).

I saw it and liked it and still do I had just gotten into reruns of Three's Company that I didn't feel the attachment whether Jack would end up with one of the girls I didn't know even know the behind the scenes scandal with Suzanne Somers leaving until way much later.

I was only 8 so to me the show was a natural transition of Jack moving in with Vicki while operating the restaurant and Mr. Bradford as his foil.

That's cool! I figured someone had to like it. I've been watching the episodes more lately, and like I said, they are okay. It's always fun seeing Jack's Bistro and I think E-Z is kind of goofy. I think the later episodes when Bradford's ex-wife is around are better, just because it's not so weird as her dad constantly butting in all by himself. Her parents together kind of had a Ropers-vibe (the two older characters at each other's throats). I do wish it had had more of a definite ending, but I know it was cancelled and that was that...but it seems unfair for Jack Tripper to get two unsatisfying finales!

Threes a Crowd kinda got a bad rap cause it followed the greatness that was 3sC but on its own merit it was a decent (not spectacular) show. I enjoyed it.

It's better than Three's Company, it was less goofy and therefore (for me at least) is more watchable. I actually like it.

i thought it was OK - I was never a fan if Vicki but liked Robert Mandan's character and EZ.

the show faced a lot of backlash at the time over what happened with Three's Company but I think it had decent ratings

It's ok. Just ok. It's not a show I want to watch over and over in a short period of time. Once every few years is good enough for me.

The Ropers was the better spinoff.

I think it's good to watch once a month. But I've only ever watched the first five minutes of the first episode of The Ropers before I got bored. Does the show get better as it goes on?

It’s a decent show and has a good theme song so I like it.

Three's A Crowd is better than The Ropers imo. The Ropers could have been better, but I did not like Jeffrey Tambor's character (too snobby). Also, the Ropers were funny on Three's Company because we only saw them in a couple scenes per episode. Having a whole show revealed how miserable and boring their marriage was.

Since Jack Tripper was the main character of Three's Company, TAC is a lot more watchable. I wish more people from Three's Company had visited. It's just tough to imagine that aside from Larry & Greedy Gretchen, Jack would never see Janet, Terri, or Furley again.

Cleverfun3000, I like the TAC theme song, too!
