Great News is a new sitcom centering around Katie Wendelson, a smart, ambitious news producer at national cable news show The Breakdown. After 30 years of being a stay-at-home mom, her mom Carol decides that it's never too late to follow your dreams and lands an internship at her daughter's news show. This is Katie's worst nightmare, until she comes to realize that with her biggest cheerleader at her side, she and her mom both might just make it after all.

The brand-new NBC show Great News premiered on April 25 with two episodes, “Pilot” and “The Bear Attack.” (http://forums.previously.tv/topic/56509-s01e01-pilot-s01e02-bear-attack/?do=getLastComment) The show is about young television news producer Katie Wendelson (Briga Heelan) who is trying to gain respect in the newsroom at “The Breakdown” while her helicopter mother Carol (Andrea Martin) takes an internship position at the station.
