TMZ reports that Erin Moran ("Joanie Cunningham") has died at the age of 56.

I always liked her as Joanie Cunningham when I was a kid though she was only 8 years older than I am. Rest in peace Erin. This one makes me very sad. She died too young. :(

If true, I wonder what she died from. I did read she was living in Tennessee
with a boyfriend/husband and they were struggling to make a living.

i saw on the news she had cancer!! but then the police said that she was using drugs too!!

This is sad...and I think she was the youngest actress in Happy Days.
