ABC’s Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (http://forums.superherohype.com/showthread.php?t=527861) usually manages to toe the line between liberal ideology and hardcore reality. Their latest story arc (http://forums.previously.tv/topic/56355-s04e18-no-regrets/?do=getLastComment) takes the characters to a Matrix-like alternate world where the writers can make up any reality they want. In this case, it’s a world where we still have to deal with the “nevertheless, she persisted” line like it means something.
