In addition to getting a new theme song when Meredith Veira still hosted Who Wants To Be A Millionaire along with the short-lived clock format and now with Who Wants To Be A Millionaire's move to Las Vegas with the Chris Harrison version I noticed that Who Wants To Be A Millionaire now has added new sound effects to the show and I would like to know if this is a updated feature to make Who Wants To Be A Millionaire gain new fans? Take for instance at the end of each show it seems that the horn that signals the show's end is now gone and is now replaced by a music cue and also it seems that whenever a contestant wins a high amount of money a different type of music cue is heard for each high amount of money. Was these changes done to save money on the show's production?

I noticed the changes too, Bestie! I think they did them to make this new version unique and attract different viewers. I don't think it will work. People care about the game, not the music.

They have switched the music around and edited sound effects quite a few times

When I watched Who Wants To Be A Millionaire today I got to listen to the last few minutes of the show and it appears that the horn that signals that time is up for today's episode sounds like the horn that you hear during NBA games and when I noticed that I didn't realize that they had updated the horn signal for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire when they started filming in Las Vegas and when I watched the Regis Philbin version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire I remember that the signal was a whooping sound. Was this an expensive sound effects makeover for Who Wants To Be A Millionaire for the show to get a new image along with the move to Las Vegas?
