In the 1980's TNN "The Nashville Network" launched it's first game show called Fandango that tested contestants knowledge of country music while selecting categories about anything and everything devoted to country music from a cute talking jukebox named Edgar who also served as the announcer for Fandango. Fandango was also hosted by country singer Bill Anderson who was best known for the song Still and Blake Pickett later joined Fandango as a model. In 1989 TNN decided to cancel Fandango and replace it with Top Card which also starred Blake Pickett as the dealer. Who would've thought that TNN would become huge in the game show world because of Fandango's success and it's a shame that you don't see country music themed game shows being made anymore because they were so fun to watch and I wish CMT "Country Music Television" would remake Fandango because it would be a fun fit for the network and be a winner with country music fans everywhere

Fandango was actually Bill Anderson's second game show that he hosted. His first game show was in the 70's and featured Real People host Sarah Purcell. Fandango was so fun to watch and reruns of Fandango should be shown on GSN or BuzzrTV because it was really cool
