Have the creators ever checked the Simpsons comics for episodes? There are so many that would make awesome episodes. Even the Treehouse of Horror comics have some really good ones. They are Helloween, Metamorph Simpson ( Homer morphs into a cockroach) , Young Frinkenstein, From Duffs till Dawn, Ring Around the Simpsons ( with characters from Lord of the Rings) , The Cask of amontilla - D'Oh, From Hell and Back or the truer story of Jack the Ripper,Margies' Baby,Gnaws (spoof of Jaws), They Draw, Prop,Prop, Whiz,Whiz,The Pygmy Elixir, I Screwed up big Time and Unleashed the Glavin on an Unsuspecting World, The Coff-Diddly-Offin,Tell Tale BART,Homer Goes to Hell, Grave Yard Shift, The Left Behinders and Springfieldopolis. They are all great and Matt Groening should look into these.
