I watch these shows, both are good but I like Peter Loves Mary a little more.

Bob Hastings also hosted some episodes of the 1974-75 syndicated game show Dealers Choice. Jack Clark was the other host. I used to watch Dealers Choice back in the day on WGN in Chicago.

I recall seeing Bob emcee a few "Dealer's Choice" broadcasts before Jack Clark took over. Why was Bob let go?

I don't know if Bob was let go or if he left on his own. My memory of this show tells me that Jack Clark was the original host and then Hastings replaced him, but I guess it was the other way around. Dealers Choice ran for over 200 episodes, not bad for a non network/syndicated game show.
