I started liking Anita Baker when I bought her 1990 album from a Goodwill store and I thought her songs were amazing and then I got more of Anita Baker's albums but then I realized that she has not released any new songs or a new album since she released her comeback album My Everything for Blue Note Records. The last news I heard about Anita Baker was she released a Christmas album and that was it. Is Anita Baker going to make a comeback to the music scene with a new album anytime soon?

Anita Baker retired in January. She's had an incredible career and her music is timeless.

From the moment I got my first Anita Baker album I knew I liked her music and then I was looking for her album Rapture but never found it and got The Best Of Anita Baker greatest hits album and I loved the songs Sweet Love and Caught Up In The Rapture and when I showed Anita Baker's music to my mom she liked her too. The Anita Baker album I recently got was her 1983 debut The Songstress and when I was listening to it I was amazed at how good Anita Baker sang and when I was looking at the liner notes of the album I learned that Anita Baker was a member of a group named Chapter 8 and that The Songstress was her solo debut album. These days if you look at R&B singers today you will never find a singer like Anita Baker because Anita Baker is wonderful and her songs are so nice to listen to on a quiet day

What? Anita Baker's retired?! Since when? I had absolutely no idea. That's too bad but I guess I can understand.
