This series made its debut in 1981. However, the first time that I watched an episode in its entirety was early in 1982. The first episode that I watched was the "Emergency" and I fell in love with it right away! It was Nell's interactions with the busy body on the pay phone that really did it for me! In addition to this episode being on, I can name a lot of other events of significance that also happened in 1982. I have already written about some of them on this board. Well, one thing that I would like you to know is that, when I am not on boards like this trying to stimulate some conversation, one place that I frequent is the one and only public library in the town where I live. Well, in this library, there is a timeline of all of the events of significance that happened from the year that the library was founded to the time that it turned a-hundred-and-thirty-years-old. I was there yesterday and I read that, in 1982, the first transplant of an artificial heard was done. I found this to by very interesting. Another attempt by me to stimulate some conversation about this fine series is by telling you guys that, the same year that I discovered a new show to watched religiously, someone's life was being saved through an artificial heart!
