I thought this would never happen!!

I was flipping through the channels this morning and realized that my H&I (Heroes & Icons) channel had been replaced by MeTV!

I'm so excited! Now, DIRECTV, please bring on Antenna TV and Laff!

Yay! :) Lucky for me I get Antenna, MeTV and Laff via OTA antenna. But I know you've been wanting Me on DirecTV for a long time!

Still seems so unreal that I actually have MeTV!!

Can't wait for season 5 of "The Beverly Hillbillies" to start so I can record them.

After doing some research, the people who own H&I offered it to Directv for free but they refused it. Instead, they just replaced it with MeTV. I wish they would've kept H&I in addition to MeTV but I'd rather have MeTV any day over H&I.

We have offered the satellite companies (DirecTV and Dish) the signal for free but they have declined to carry it. H&I and MeTV are the same people - Weigel Broadcasting from Chicago. So the station that carries them picked up MeTV as the primary network and moved H&I to a subchannel, which the satellite companies have refused to pick up (as with most subchannels). Glad it worked out for you, though!
I just hope they don't change their mind and take MeTV away and replace it with something else.

My brother lives about 5 miles from me and he has Dish and gets Laff. I wonder why Directv doesn't offer it. If Dish has it in my area, I know it's available if Directv wanted it.

Green Acres also airs on Light. I wish I could get that channel. I'm just glad it's leaving Antenna and going to Me so it won't have any more credit crunching.

As long as a station there puts it on a primary channel. That's the only reason you now have Me-TV on DirecTV. Because it moved from WSB 2.2 to WGTA 32.1.

Very cool that you now have METV!!!:) You get to see your Mama's family now !!! :) Hopefully Petticoat Junction will come back! That was cool how they used to show PJ and than Beverly Hillbillies right after!;)

I don't mean to be a bearer of bad news but IDK about Antenna on Directv ? I have friends who have Direct and they don't get Antenna ! They have METV which they have had for a long time but not Antenna ! I have Spectrum formally Time Warner which offers both! We are in Los Angeles so hopefully it varies from place to place and hoping you can get Antenna too! ;) :wave:

Because on my Direct TV channel guide I don't have channels like Heroes And Icons and Antenna TV so this would be a surprise for me because METV is a channel Mom and I would love to watch. Another channel I wish Direct TV would also add to it's channel lineup would be BuzzrTV because I would like to see that channel as well

You should have METV if you have Directv in Southern California!!! My friends who have Direct had METV for a long time, even before I was getting it on Time Warner! ;)

Looks like I'll never get Antenna TV on Directv because it's the low man on the totem pole. If MyNetworkTV did stop broadcasting (which will probably never happen), it'd be replaced by Bounce since it's next in line.
