Norman Lear To Appear on "The Simpsons"

Norman Lear will make a brief cameo in an episode of "The Simspons", EW has learned.
The 94-year-old TV creator/producer who was responsible for such hits as "All in the Family", "The Jeffersons", and "Good Times" will play himself in a scene that involves the theme song from one of his shows. The episode is expected to air this fall on Fox as part of season 29.
