This is the second evening in a row that I've been redirected to a porn site out of nowhere when browsing this site. Has this been happening to anyone else?

What's really frustrating is that this used to be one of my favorite websites to view at work, until I saw an X-rated popup two days ago at work:mad: . Now I can't risk looking at this site at work. Lee 03-24-2017, 09:56 PM Obviously, the administrators need to look into this MrCleveland 03-25-2017, 12:37 PM Hasn't happened to me... mets82 03-25-2017, 02:35 PM Me either. opus 03-25-2017, 04:19 PM I haven't been lucky enough either....:( Elainer 03-25-2017, 09:01 PM I've asked users yesterday on this message board to sign my petition to get all of the Houston isd's children who ride the school bus to and home from school on time everyday, but they ignored me and I don't know why. The bus service has been horrible ever since I was little and nobody has cared to do anything about it. This is why I'm trying to do something about it myself without my family knowing or anybody I work with knowing. DJM77 03-25-2017, 10:03 PM It just happened to me again. You should try posting your petition on a local community website or Houston-specific board. Also, since this petition isn't sitcom-related, it could be regarded as spam by the moderators if enough people report it. robyrob 03-26-2017, 01:13 PM This is the second evening in a row that I've been redirected to a porn site out of nowhere when browsing this site. Has this been happening to anyone else?I think you need to look into an ad-blocker for your browser, and possibly install an extension such as No-Script, if nothing else look into a hosts file that blocks certain sites. Some antivirus programs might have protections against such site redirections, but you'd need to investigate how to enable such features in yours. but if you haven't already done so, you need to report this problem to TJ and Janice. http://lifehacker.com/5817447/how-to-block-unwanted-ads-in-all-applications-and-speed-up-web-browsing-with-the-hosts-file http://blogs.msmvps.com/hostsnews/ Lee 03-26-2017, 08:40 PM I've asked users yesterday on this message board to sign my petition to get all of the Houston isd's children who ride the school bus to and home from school on time everyday, but they ignored me and I don't know why. I really don't feel like doing all of that stuff except for telling TJ and Janice and I'll do that tonight. I have Webroot. It might be worthwhile to clear out your internet cache, too. Is that the same as clearing browser history? TJ 04-16-2017, 02:44 AM I've tried blocking the url, but I just saw the ad that re-directs for the first time. I posted on the Google AdSense forums for help in trying to get them removed. We obviously would never run anything like that. I see it's also happening here: http://www.archerytalk.com/vb/showthread.php?t=4917745 Videoranger007 04-16-2017, 01:56 PM I have never had this happen to me, the porn popups. I mainly only browse the trading and cartoon forum. Does it happen randomly or just specific forum posts possibly? Randomly. I still get them several times a week. It's very annoying, but when it does happen then I just delete it from my history and do a virus scan. ComedyGuy 04-24-2017, 02:50 PM I have AdBlock Plus on my Browser and Avast ! PhoenixAcres 07-14-2017, 08:48 PM This has unfortunately happened to me at least twice in the last few weeks. It seems to redirect almost immediately after a new page loads and can happen to any page randomly. Tankeryanker 09-15-2017, 08:00 PM It has happened to me several times. I wrote about it on the Leave it to Beaver page MA 09-16-2017, 09:18 AM This is why I have multiple adblockers. glickmam 09-25-2017, 03:14 AM This is the second evening in a row that I've been redirected to a porn site out of nowhere when browsing this site. Same thing happened to me too when i redirected to porn site.. actually on ocassionally, not too often. i had to go back and go sitcomsonline.com again. AB 12-26-2017, 05:23 PM I got redirected to another site last night here. Closed the window before my computer stuck. It happened to me last week and I wasn't fast enough to close the window so it kept popping up. Had to turn off the computer and open it in safe mode and run my anti-virus program. That's the first one I've gotten in a really long time and boy what a hassle it was. Mr. Television 12-27-2017, 05:49 PM It happened to me last week and I wasn't fast enough to close the window so it kept popping up. Thanks for the tip. ComedyGuy 05-19-2018, 05:29 PM I use AdBlockPlus for a few years and so far zero problems with ads.. . . . . . PhoenixAcres 05-19-2018, 08:18 PM I forget how I did it exactly, but somehow in the options I made it so the browser will not redirect automatically to another page. Ever since I did that, I haven't had this problem. AB 05-21-2018, 06:34 PM I just got this pop-up while I was on the game board. I exited off it quickly after capturing this photo. Why are ads like these showing up here? It really is uncool! MA 05-22-2018, 10:03 AM I just got this pop-up while I was on the game board. I exited off it quickly after capturing this photo. Why are ads like these showing up here? It really is uncool! I’m guessing you don’t have Adblock. 1960'sTVfan 05-22-2018, 10:51 AM Being redirected to a porn site isn't good at all. This happens to me also once in a while when I'm on here. Not all the time, but it happens occasionally. A person shouldn't have to use adblock in order to prevent it. I'm not a computer expert, but I wonder if this site is being hacked and redirecting users to a porn site. If that's what it is, it needs to be fixed so this redirecting doesn't happen anymore. Mr. Television 05-22-2018, 02:17 PM Probably one of the ads is doing it. It's happened to me before although I haven't seen it yet this time. Dude111 05-27-2018, 05:50 PM If you guys disable scripts does it still happen? Disable javascript and see :) |
