I have vague memories of seeing the series regularly AFTER the ABC run on the local Field Communications station once a week (Saturday Evening Early Fringe) Sometime around 1981-1982

Anyone else remember Paramount Domestic Television making the show available for once-a-week airings in syndication after the ABC Run?

Maybe it was only sold to the 5 Field Stations (Boston,San Fran,Chicago,Philly and Detroit)

But this was clearly BEFORE the Summer 1985 ABC rerun.

It probably was which is how there are eps on youtube and some in the tape trading community. I;m sure those episodes wasn't original airings from 1979

There were VCRS - BETA & VHS in 1979 and it was a hit show so it's possible network airings are going around.

I loved the series in its original run and I lived in Boston. I don't recall our Field station running it in the early 80s. They did run it in 1985, picking up the ABC weekday reruns because the local ABC affiliate never carried ABC programming at 11:00 am.

The episodes online are from the 1996 TV Land airings. Before that, it was run on ABC weekday mornings in 1985 briefly.
