Vicki Lawrence is a great actress and her show, "Mama's Family" is great. I didn't watch it in the original run of the 1980's because I was in college at the time and didn't watch much TV. But now am catching it in reruns on MeTV and Logo and loving it. Of course I saw her on The Carol Burnett Show in the Eunice and Ed family during the 1970s.

Though I like all the seasons of this show, my preference is the second format with Bubba and Iola. Love Rue McClanahan also from the first format.

I got hooked on Mama back when it aired on TBS in the afternoon at 5:05pm and 5:35pm (i think that was the correct times). I've been a loyal fan of all the Raytown residents since!

I also love The Carol Burnett Show...especially The Family sketches.

Yep I love them both too. Mama can always be counted on to be a hoot, especially when someone or something gets her dander up.
