I believe there's an episode in which Cliff (sarcastically) says to Theo: "I wish I had a son!" Love that moment but can't remember which episode.

You might be thinking of the one in the 3rd season, when Clair and Cliff are sick in bed with the flu. And Cliff says he wishes he had a son, he was saying that because he was sick. And when you get the flu sometimes you just say things that do not make sense. Although that was pushing it alittle, they just used to to make it funnyl.
