I'll trust that Logo isn't going to pull some kind of cruel April Fools joke and air something else on 4/1 instead. I realize that Logo butchers everything, but since I can't get Antenna TV then I'll have to just take what I can get. I'll just be sure to have my remote within reach to avoid all of the commercialthons.

I have a "homemade" set for seasons 5-9 that is bad but watchable quality. It serves the purpose and it's probably better than watching it on Logo with the horrible edits.

I'm curious about how Logo could get Alice sooner than Antenna?

On Logo today, I saw part of an episode where Vera was pantomiming[playing charades] to Alice about Tommy hurting his leg. That scene suffered a horrendous speed up because there was no dialogue. It not only looked silly, but made me motion sick. I remember watching Alice on TNN? or another station and they did the same thing with speed ups while the waitresses were walking out their orders. It wrecked the show for me. :(

I had forgotten that Logo was showing it. I caught the show by accident yesterday.

I know that knowing Logo, Alice probably won't be on for long and removed without notice.

I watched a little on Logo today out of curiosity - shows don't seem too heavily edited.
But since seasons 1-4 are on DVD, there's really no reason to rely on seeing them on Logo. And I have a pretty complete set of seasons 5-9 (pieced together from multiple airings).
My guess, though, as that Alice will look much better on Antenna TV. I'm surprised it popped up on Logo. Seems like Warner Brothers is finally allowing some of their shows to be aired (ER just started on POP, and more WB are coming to ATV).

I can't watch it much! The time doesn't work for me!:( Only days would be Thursday and Friday!

Yeah I noticed season 3 is being shown on saturdays

I find it highly unlikely they licensed it for a single run even considering the number of episodes in the package. IF you haven't noticed, the shows they are running all have large syndication package and are having daily runs of 4-6 episodes weekdays and at least one block (sometimes two!) of 4-6 episodes on the weekend.

I don't think it's to use up rights quickly, but just how they program, which would have the need of a large block of episodes per series. Look at what they currently run and the number of episodes per series.

Instead of speculating, anyone bother to email LOGO and ask them how long they plan on airing the series? I find it highly unlikely they licensed it for a single run (and with One Day at A Time) even considering the number of episodes in the package.

When Alice started on ION they did pretty good job, but it went downhill pretty quickly. By the end the episodes barely made it to 20 minutes and they cut the credits. That was when ION was showing Mama's Family and since then it has gone totally downhill.

Yeah, ION was crappy from the first airing of Alice. I didn't even bother watching the second season because the first season airing was so bad. ION truly shredded the hell out of the show and the picture quality was horrible. It was like watching Alice on an old television set with an antenna instead of cable.

Anyone been tracking how LOGO has been running ALICE - order of episodes, skipping episodes, looping around mid series and continuing on? How the extra weekend airings don't match up with weekdays (sometimes before or after where they were/are Friday/Monday)

I've been tracking and recording ONE DAT AT A TIME and thought I'd see if anyone was keeping track the same way I've been with ODDAT with the skipped episodes,multi-airings,etc. (I've tracked since day one and know exactly what has aired where and when and even recorded the same episode on more than one airing just to keep things evenish)

With the later seasons of ALICE not on DVD, I know a lot of people are eager for them to run all of the later episodes. Even Edited.

ODAAT is looping around to the start after season 7 airs next week - and they are skipping 13 of the episodes! (Half the season scattered , including several key episodes) Any major skipping around on ALICE broadcasts lately? I watch it but don't keep track - great show.

I recall it seemed they did that with ALICE ran to a point, then looped back to the beginning and then continued past the loop point.

Season 3 of ALICE started Today, looping around from Season 7 - expect skipped episodes to appear in this run up.

I didn't know they had skipped to season 6 & 7 of Alice. I am glad to see them. I was able to DVR them since I haven't the later season in ages.

I LOVE it too!!! :) Because of my work schedule I don't get to see it nearly enough though! :( But I'm so glad LOGO started playing it, and I get to see this again after so many years even if it isn't that much, I treasure when I can watch it!!! :)

Looks like Logo has been added to my channel pack on DIRECTV. I watched Alice today and the network isn't as bad as it used to be a year or so ago. Still not a wonderful network but not horrible like it used to be.

I'm not sure if this channel has been added as a few preview for a week or so but I'll enjoy it while it's there.

It's not slightly. They've been cut to 18 minute episodes with pivotal scenes cut. :rolleyes: They're the prime of example what a network SHOULDN'T be. So glad Alice and ODAAT will be getting completed on DVD so we don't have to deal with Logo's hackjobs.

Alice is coming to Antenna TV starting Christmas Eve and airing 2 hours 8-10pm ET/5-7pm PT on December 30th. Less butchered than Logo more than likely too .

Back in 2016, when Antenna TV showed new shows coming on 2017, they literally had to wait until the bitter end of 2017 to show Alice?

Does Antenna TV do squeeze credits on every show? I ask this because I remember one time not long ago (during the evening I think) I was scrolling through the TV and stopped on Antenna TV and they were getting ready to end one show and go to the next, and they actually played the ending credits without squeezing. It made me wonder if maybe they do this during their prime time airings or something or if it was just a fluke.

Did they take the show off Logo? I can't seem to find it. I am glad we are getting Season 6 in a few weeks. I hope we get Season 7 in February or March.

It's still on, unfortunately. Logo hacks this shows to pieces. As with all their shows, their shows are (at max.) 18 minutes each with pivotal scenes missing! Thankfully ODAAT is off forever, they hacked so many scenes with that one it no longer made sense! I'll never watch Logo.
