Yesterday, my new pastor was talking in his sermon about the Gospel than the Law...and then "The Circle Maker"!
My dad says a sermon should be Law then Gospel and never Mark Batterson's "The Circle Maker" because he says the book contains witchcraft usage of the circle.
Should I find a new Lutheran Church?

I say just give him a chance. What is The Circle Maker? Some form of the bible or something? You said something about it being witchcraft too or something.

I read an online article about the book and it doesn't really interest me.
You don't need to draw circles to talk to God. You don't even have to speak to talk to God. He hears your thoughts and heart.

The Circle Maker is written by Mark Batterson...here's his wiki...

It's loosely based upon Honi The Circle Maker...

Also...circle-making is loosely based upon Wiccan beliefs...it's not for me. Also, before I wrote this part...Andrew Keegan has his own cult called Full Circle which too uses the circle. So...no!

I had a feeling also about that. It really bothers me that so many Christians are adopting these practices and incorporating them into their beliefs. I'm researching all of this.
