boy, the writing about cecilia really teed me off

i dont find it true to character, even in the slightest

first, there was never a mention of simon putting any pressure on her to have sex. in fact, quite the opposite - i think she was more interested than he was. when simon was a bit nervous about getting condoms, she just walks in there, puts the money down, and walks out

so where in the hell does she get off telling simon that she is angry because simon never asked her how she felt. boy, if i had been simon, i would have yelled at her. and when i stopped i would have asked her why the hell she didnt ask me about how i felt.

i simply disliked that whole line of reasoning.

regarding jury duty, if our judicial system actually cracked down on crime, the citizens would not need to be inconvenienced. and we would not have the same people committing crimes after crimes after crimes. the people who make out are the judges and lawyers - big surprise, there.

people would be very surprised at how things would change if the judges and lawyers were paid a dollar a day, and given one way transportation. i have seen up close just how ridiculous our whole judicial system is. that was left unmentioned in this episode. i do symptathize with the police, though. they do risk their lives, and for what ? to see the same repeat offenders let off - not because there werent jurors, but because of the judicial system itself.
