Anyone else offer some insight as to why, exactly, William GAGsdale, a.k.a. the geeky, insufferable little piece-of-SH*T Charley Brewster from "Fright Night", a.k.a. Mr. "Just-Cannot-Hold-A-Candle-To-The-Sinfully-Handsome-Chris-Sarandon", a.k.a. Mr. "I-Will-Forever-And-Always-Play-Second-Fiddle-To-The-Sexy-And-Gorgeous-Chris-Sarandon-No-Matter-What", was playing Claude's boyfriend at one point??? Was he REALLY the best they could come up with??? He's not a good-looking guy, nor is he even mildly attractive!! And he certainly isn't charming!! And I'm pretty sure the reason he didn't last long as Claude's boyfriend was because Sara Rue wanted her character to end up with someone hot, like Antonio Sabato, Jr. or John Stamos. You can even tell she is totally grossed out whenever she has to kiss him, or act in love with him. I also read that as a child watching "Fright Night" that she had a HUUUUUGE crush on Chris Sarandon, like the rest of us did, and she actually wanted him to bite her on the neck. But, really, why GAGsdale??? The fact that he's about as "handsome" and "attractive" as fecal matter was the primary reason "Herman's Head" got cancelled after just three seasons!! So, why was poor Sara Rue subjected to having to act in love with William GAGsdale???
