Eight is Enough celebrated their 40th Anniversary on March 15th. Willie Aames (Tommy) posted this on his Facebook page:

It's Hard to believe that 40 years ago today.. We helped change Family Television and created a legacy. Betty Buckley Adam Rich Connie Needham Debbie Goodeve (for Grant Goodeve) Jeffrey Ballard Susan Richardson So grateful for our connection. Of course none of this would have been possible without America's favourite TV Dad: Dick Van Patten and we miss him him dearly. Lani O'Grady is also in our thoughts and hearts. Jimmy Van Patten We are thinking of the entire Van Patten clan and sending love and gratitude. Other notables from my side, Jef Scott for keeping the music I played on the show credible, Micheal Goodrow you I are forever connected my friend... so many more memories. And inadvertently this show gave me my wonderful wife Winnie Hung...Together we all made history.. xoxoxo
