When I came on here tonight to look around at today's posts on the message boards I noticed that it took a VERY long time to load and then after I waited it gave me a database error. I tried to get into the message boards again and then got the same error message and I would like to know if the message boards are being updated tonight or is this a glitch that happens on here from time to time?

For me the site has been slow, but no more than usual on average. I think the speed depends on what ads are loading because sometimes a page will load instantly and other times it will take a while and it may even go unresponsive for a few seconds.

I've never gotten a database error, but if you are, it may have something to do with your internet connection being too weak to connect to the server. I'm not positive though because I'm not very familiar with that type of error.

I had no trouble tonight so it appears everything is working great

I too had problems with this message board about a month or more ago, in Feb. & March I would try to post a message and it would freeze up, it would other times I would get a warning that this was a dangerous website. Most of the time I'd be in the middle of typing a message and it would freeze up and the whole website went out. THen I'd have to re-type the whole thing again. Finally I got smart and I typed my message on a word document then I'd copy and paste it to the message board so it couldn't freeze up on me in the middle of typing. THat solved that but recently I haven't had those problems.:talk:

When I logged on for this session I got a get a warning that this was a dangerous website, not sure why that came up, might be because of the Virus blocker I or each user has ???
The pages load very quickly and so far no problems.. . . . . .

For me tonight when I tried to post on the message boards I got the database error three times and now that I try to post a message I got the same database error again. I think Sitcoms Online needs to remind members of when the boards are down and to remind members when the boards will be open again and that would solve the problems that occur from time to time

Me too Bestie! That just happened to me right now!!!:eek: Never before has it happened before to me but I was getting the same thing a few minutes ago that you are describing! ?:confused:

Yeah it seemed to have resolved itself! ;) It was a very short time last night there seemed to be trouble! :wave:

Once again tonight the database error appeared again when I tried to post and look at the boards. I can't figure out why this happens from time to time and the staff should try to fix the problem so we can post and look on the boards easily with no problem

The databases are usually being backed up around 3-4am. It seems like the best time to do it, since it affects the least amount of people. It takes 5-10 minutes, so that's when you are most likely to see database errors.
