As far as I'm concerned the only characters that wholly liked Steve were Mother Winslow, Myra, and Richie. Carl and Laura didn't seem to like him at all and would just tolerate him from time to time. Eddie seemed to of genuinely liked Steve despite some disdain for him. I wonder how all the other characters felt.

I loved hearing little Ritchie call him uncle Steve. :) :) :)

Harriet and Rachel were mostly nice to him in a way, that Carl and Eddy and Laura hardly were in the beginning.

To be fair though, it is clear that the Winslows learned to care about Steve over the years.
