This is just asinine. Why is Antenna TV wanting to add more E/I shows. That's not what this channel is for. Good thing I stopped watching a long time ago. It just keeps getting worse and worse.

One thing I will say about Litton is I do like their adaption of "Brain Games" called "Brain Games: Family Edition".

I've always enjoyed BG on Nat Geo and I can't find any info on how FE came about but I like how it's on my Fox affiliate in HD.

Curious if they will put it on Antenna TV as well.

Antenna TV can't probably help E/I too much as the FCC I believe still requires it.

We've been down this road before, the slow death of Antenna TV picks up steam.

It just keeps getting worse and worse. They aren't adding E/I hours, this will replace 3 hours of the current E/I programming. Some form of it is required by law.

In all honesty I don't see why this is such catastrophic news. Antenna TV already has a block of E/I shows on weekend mornings. I don't know if they run for three hours but that sounds right. So basically they're just re-scheduling within an existing three-hour block? Obviously it would be ideal if they'd put classic TV in those slots, but from a practical standpoint 6 hours a week isn't that bad.

Antenna's status as a digital subchannel (along with MeTV, etc.) requires that it show a set amount of E/I programming a week. It's mandated by the FCC (or whoever), so Antenna actually has zero control in that respect.

It's currently 4 hours a week Saturdays from 9AM-1PM. There is a full regular lineup on Sundays.

Yeah, but why 4 hours when it's a minimum of 3? Makes no sense. Just do the 3 and do it from 7-10AM.

I'd say put it on between noon and 4PM...I STILL miss the SatAM Block!

Im sorry but I hate E/I programming. They can't end the credit crunch or off the clock programming, 55,000 commercials but yet here is boring E/I programming. There's enough channels offering that. Nickelodeon, Disney, Teen Nick, etc.
