Hello Everyone! New here.
So happy to stumble across this board. I've been a Freddie Sr fan since I was a child many moons ago. lol
Just wondering, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but with the exception of "some" TV appearances, his comedy album, and HBO's Freddie Prinze & Friends, why hasn't more of Freddie's work been released? He performed many live shows and made personal appearances across the country, i.e. Caesars Palace, Michigan State Fair, Long Island Music Fair, etc... yet none of these were ever made available on video to the public. I would think his estate would want to prolong his legacy by releasing more of his live performances. Actually, a nice DVD box set featuring ALL of Freddie's GREATNESS would be a treat to us fans!:D
Our "Prinze" is a Legend and for the short amount of time that he was with us, he left a ton of work. It's a shame it's so difficult to find most of it.
Btw, is Hungarican Productions now defunct? :-(

I imagine very few of his appearances were taped.
I can't remember how to start a new thread so please forgive going off topic here. I am wondering if anyone is interested in a sizable collectionnof Freddie Prinze Sr. memorabilia.
I am still and always be a Freddie fan but circumstances have forced me to try and sell the collection. If you know of anyone that may be interested youcan send me a private message for details.
Sincerely,
Joy

That's a shame. Thanks for the link. The Hollywood Walk of Fame Star is Great, but so much more could be done to maintain Freddie's legacy :-(

Has anyone considering trying to contact Mr. Freddie Prinze, Jr.? Even if he somehow has no actual control over his late father's materials, I don't see why he wouldn't at least be able to direct interested parties to them- or at the very least be happy that there are still folks interested in the legacy.

I agree wholeheartedly.
Making it easier to obtain his Dad's material would be awesome for us fans.
Not sure if I'll get a response, but I will definitely reach out to Junior :)

There is A LOT out there
We know ALL the CARSON stuff all exist - some has even aired on AntennaTV but that is an untapped library of his appearances. (CARSON PRODUCTIONS holds everything from 1973 onward including guest hosts)
Heck, just look at his IMDB page under "self" and most of those shows-specials all still exist sitting in vaults. The only thing that might not exist are THE HOLLYWOOD SQUARES, those were mostly wiped.
Perhaps it's time someone did a real retrospect on this fine comedian.

I agree that there is a lot of his work out there, but perhaps if FPJ took an active interest the work out there could be cleaned up and properly packaged..
