She's flopped as the lead in four series since Dharma & Greg: Courting Alex (2006), Accidentally on Purpose (2009), 1600 Penn (2012) and Growing Up Fisher (2014). Only the second lasted more than 13 episodes.
Now she has a new one coming up this month. Will this make it five bombs?
Why do people keep giving her jobs?

I don't know but I liked her in Growing Up Fisher.
The other's not so much.
Dharma and Greg was a fun show, I was a fan. She had a lot of chemistry with Thomas Gibson. I wish her well. :)

I think they figure she's been successful, she probably has an audience that'll watch her. With the way audiences are fragmented now, they don't have to try to go for a big, general audience. If they can cobble together 2 or 3 discrete audiences that combine for 5 million 18-49 viewers, the show will be on for ten years.
I hope so for her sake. :)
It must be humbling to have so many shows that didn't work after having a big success just out of the gate.

I enjoyed Courting Alex, but yeah, I'd be shocked if she ever landed a hit show again with her track record.

She needs to be more choosy about her vehicles.
Dharma Finkelstein Montgomery she was tailor made for but for me she is stuck in a series of characters that don't capture her well.
I didn't see Courting Alex, unfortunately but as I said I liked her in Growing Up Fisher. Accidentally On Purpose just seemed really pointless.
1600 Penn? That came and went, I barely remember it.
Maybe she should reunite with Thomas Gibson.

I agree. It seems that she immediately takes anything they offer her. Then again, Scientology is expensive. She needs to keep that cash coming in somehow!

Haha yes!
I hope she breaks away from there someday. But they cater to the celebrities who live in a bubble so she probably won't.
Thank God for Leah the Troublemaker! :)

I loved Dharma and Greg (at least for awhile). I think the cutesy, happy, weird, hippy, somewhat neurotic thing Jenna's good at is kinda stale now. So many actresses have did it before and after her.

Her father-in-law, and 'uncle-in-law' are pretty cool though.
