God I hate this show so much. I use to love it when Bob Saget hosted he did all those voices overs on the videos. Now this show really sucks. It should have ended when Bob decided to quit the show. this show cant even keep host any more they had this duo some guy and some lady host. Now they have that guy from HollyWood Squares hosting. ABC cancell this show it ran out it's welcome when Mr. Saget left.

i agree, bob saget was awesome on the show and it actually was funny when he was host, but now its not, i cant stand watching, i use to watch with my parents and my brother yah they should show the re-runs and not the new show

Bob Saget was such a cool host for that show. It's too bad he's not hosting that show anymore. :(

I think this show is quite stupid because today peoples minds are all messed up (braindead,etc) and they think crap is funny!!!! (Stuff that isnt really funny at all)

The most disturbing America's "Funniest," Home Videos I ever saw was a boat capsizing and the Audience LAUGHING! :eek::confused::mad::rolleyes: What? My Stepfather gasped in shock and I don't blame him. That Boat capsizing video was SCARY, not FUNNY!

The show was always filled with staged clips. I pretty much gave up when one clip turned up of someone pulling up to a driveway with a gas pump still attached. That was in the earliest years of the show.

Now that would be funny seeing..... Amazing how stupid people are now,wouldnt be suprising them not know that was there!!

When America's Funniest Home Videos debuted in 1989 as the world's first ever contest for people to send in their funniest home movies into a show for a chance at a cash prize at the end of each season. And it was actually a English version of a Japanese language show that was hugely popular in Japan. So with Vin Di Bona as the producer and an entertaining theme song called The Funniest Things You Do ABC knew that this funny show would be a popular hit and I mean a huge hit with a capital H. But why I think Bob Saget was chosen to be the original host was because at the time Full House was still popular ABC gave Bob Saget the hosting job as a second hobby in addition to Full House and because of him as the host I think Bob Saget was the main reason America's Funniest Home Videos was a survivor and gave ABC mega ratings and because of it's success they launched spin-offs America's Funniest People and World's Funniest Videos but when America's Funniest People got cancelled it was a big shock because it seemed to be a hit. But as soon as Bob Saget left the show America's Funniest Home Videos went downhill when John Fugelsang and Daisy Fuentes became the hosts and part of the reason it went downhill was the show had gained a new image with changing the theme song and I think Daisy Fuentes was aiming for popularity and now aside from being featured in Kohl's commercials promoting her new fashion line as Kohl's spokeswoman you don't hear much about Daisy Fuentes anymore. But I think now with Alfonso Ribeiro as the current host I think he should've hosted the show first because when I first saw Alfonso host it once I knew he could save the show because as you have seen on The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air and Catch-21 Alfonso is funny witty and full of laughs and he is better than Bob Saget and I think he saved America's Funniest Home Videos from going belly up
