This is a little similar to the "What would Lucy be arrested for?" thread. In this case, Jerry's friends keep his life in constant turmoil, often resulting in damages that Jerry ends up paying. Three examples:

Kramer: left Jerry's front door open, the apartment was robbed, computer, TV, stereo, leather jacket, and answering machine stolen. Value: about $1,000.

George: crashes Jerry's rental car, damage $2,836.

Elaine: cons Jerry into reimbursing her for personal calls she made from work, amount $429.

That's over $4,200. In just three incidents. What else is out there? Estimate if necessary.

Elaine got Jerrys new suede jacket ruined. You can blame her father, but let's blame her for not taking Jerry's side. Retail value lost-probably around $1000

How about George's poor negotiating skills with NBC? That lost thousands.

Who cares about this show, the ending really turned us off.

In the finale, they reach a new deal for the pilot Jerry. But Kramer forcing an emergency landing causes Jerry the loss of the deal, a loss at a chance of a series (could be worth millions) and a loss of a year of his life (prison).

I think this one belongs to Jerry. It's something like the concrete in the washing machine - Kramer egged him on, but Jerry still has some responsibility for carrying it out. In this case, though, Jerry's the first one to make fun of the guy ("there goes the money for the lypo"), and the others join in.

I was coming from the angle that if Kramer doesn't start jumping around, they fly peacefully to LA, and none of that other stuff happens.
