I just saw the commercial today and they started to name off shows like ER, LA Law, Friends, Frasier, Cheers, Cosby, etc.
Well I was hoping they'ed say Golden Girls and they DID! They are going to recognize it and I even saw Betty White on the commercial! I was so happy! Can't wait to see it! MAke sure to tune in on Sunday May 5, 2002 at 8/7/6/5 o'clock, depending on which time zone you are in, so 6p.m. for me! :D :D :D :D

Its 8:00 for any time zone. They just don't air it live then.

No, I was watching NBC and saw the commercial and heard with my own ears "8/7 central." MAybe in Pacific it mightbe 8, but Mountain its 6. I even checked TVGuide.com.

All I can say is that it's about time that NBC had a celebration like this. There hasn't been one like this since "NBC Let's all be there" back in 1985. Man, that was a celebration.

I don't remember that at all. I just know that I am really looking forward to this show on Sunday night. I can't wait to see some of the TV stars I grew up with.

I'm pretty sure we'll see it at 8:00 pm in the Pacific time zone...we seem to get everything on tape delay.
Doesn't matter,,I'm definitely going to watch!! I just saw Betty White in the promo.

Yay! I say Betty White and Rue McClanahan sitting in the Audience! No Bea or Estelle though. Estelle I kinda thought she wouldn't be there, but Bea should have been there. :(
Who knows, she still might show up!!!1 :D

I had a little problem with this special. You guys notice how they focused so much attention on Frasier, Friends, Cosby Show, Seinfeld, LA Law, Cheers, etc;??? But all they gave Golden Girls was a 15 second clip. And the clip wasn't one of the best clips either, I mean it was funny, but they should've showed something funnier. The Golden Girls was very important to NBC in the 80's, it was a top ten show for 6 seasons. Saturday nights before the Golden Girls came on to my knowledge was a wasteland. Ah well.
