I was chatting with some former SO members on facebook and they were all giving me lists of their former usernames. I'm interested in how many people have changed their usernames.

For the record, I never have. I joined as Liza back in 2001, and Liza I remain. :wave:

lol, you must have, I don't remember any of those other usernames. But I'm getting old, I forget more and more ;)

At one point I took a break from this site for several years. When I came back I created a new profile and was known as Flanders vs. Szyslak. After a little while I started using my old user name again and had TJ merge all of my posts together.

I just shortened my username.

As I have been Furienna everywhere since 2001, nobody but me will remember my older user names. But I remember calling myself things like "Einstein's Sister" and "Numquam Magnum".

I started out in 2001 as Newhart Fan.I can't remember when I changed to Penny Lane but it did suit me better as most of you know!:)

Who remembers Karli ? She started out at 12 years old as Lisa Whelchel Forever.She was also Babes Kay and Kay Scarpetta. She changed her name so many times that it was hard to keep up with her. She hasn't posted here in a few years. She must be nearing 30 years old by now! Hard to believe!

I remember her. Around 2001 or so she had more posts here than anyone else and she was only 13 or 14 at the time.

For a long time I and others thought that she was older. She seemed quite intelligent and well informed for someone that young. I really liked her and still miss her. I wish more of our former members would drop in to let us know where they are and what they're doing now.:)

Mine hasn't changed much. I was originally phoenixAcres16 until February 2017.

The lowercase p was to be QUIRKY and the 16 was just the current year.

I've always been Janice Johnson for my main account. I had like three socks in the early 2000's. :crazy: My Socks and I would follow each other and praise each other.:crazy: A Moderator PM'd me and asked me if I had any socks since at least one of my socks happened to show up on the same computer I was using. I confessed and he thanked me for my honesty but told me to stop using the Socks or I would be banned. And then he merged my Socks posts into the Janice Johnson account so that it righfully looked like I was talking to myself! :crazy:Posters got a kick out of that! :crazy:

I’ve thought about shortening my name to just tlc38 for the longest time but for some reason I haven’t. I’ve used this name online for a very long time and it’s hard to let it go.
