Now that Star Trek timeline has split, thanks to 2009's pshycho Romulan invasion, maybe we can try the next generation again, this time in an alternate timeline. Jean Luc Picard could be a LT Commander and Worf could be the Captain of the Enterprise D. Riker could be counselor and Deanna Troi could be his wife who complains about space travel the way DR. Mccoy did. Wesley Crusher could be engineer, probably a better one the LaForge. Then there is Beverly Crusher who could be Worfs girlfriend, where Wesley is ashamed of her for not falling in love with Data, who Wesley clearly worships. And of course, LT Ro Laren could join the crew and be ashamed of them all because she thinks their nuts. Then there is Guinan, who couldn't take this alternate timeline anymore and begged the Borg to assimilate her.
