SO want to see the rest of Early Edition get a DVD release!

Also, another '80s show with no DVD releases, outside of 1 episode on one of the Family Ties complete series DVD sets-

Day by Day

And I'd love to see the rest of Perfect Strangers, Who's The Boss?, Small Wonder, My Two Dads and Mr. Belvedere get DVD releases too. And lots of others I could name.

Definitely St. Elsewhere-- the dry spell since that first release has been more than a decade!

I'm really surprised Shout! Factory hasn't picked it up and released a complete series with them finishing other dramas like "Hart to Hart" & "Hill Street Blues"-- and now "T.J. Hooker." Maybe?

I'm afraid these shows may be suffering from music rights issues

In general I would say music rights issue for shows from about the late 70s-90s is a game changer that hurts shows from that era. Shows from the 50s-mid 70's really didn't use song scores and popular music or at least rarely and shows in the last 15 years or so because of a combo of the implosion of the music industry and the awareness of streaming and dvd and blu ray's people that stuff is taken into account when they cut together an episode. For a 20-25 year period the music industry looked at their song's being used in tv shows and movies as publicity but now it's publicity and more a revenue stream.

I have the "best of" DVD. I've watched it about a dozen times. I'd LOVE to have a big box set for this series!

Still can't believe we've not seen more seasons of Who's The Boss and Silver Spoons. It's so frustrating, especially when I love the later seasons much more than the first.
