When my mom started going to concerts one of the first concerts she went to was a Kenny Rogers concert and a band called Asleep At The Wheel was his opening act and I would like to know if you remember this band? They were very popular in Texas and continue to perform everywhere on the country music scene

I like them. Leader Ray Benson played in bars and honky tonks for years before becoming famous . I like their "Texas Swing" style which was made famous by Bob Wills years ago. I also like their cover of Eric Clapton's "Lay Down Sally"
