I keep hearing so much about Vermont Teddy Bear Company and I would like to know why every Valentine's Day they seem to make a whole lot of business? Is it because Vermont Teddy Bear Company's bears and stuffed animals are favorites with people or is it because people want a special gift that's unique? Because every commercial I've seen on TV or radio Vermont Teddy Bear Company seems to advertise and promote their giant teddy bears every Valentine's Day and I cannot figure out why Vermont Teddy Bear Company has suddenly become big than ever before

Vermont Teddy Bear is a gaff, imh. I guess iit's okay if you're in the mood to spend $85 onward and upward. I don't even think the quality is that good. It's how they dress the bears, cupid for VD, holding an Easter Bunny, birthday, Christmas or work related....dressed like a nurse, teacher, etc. There's so much to accessorize.

The teddy bear that kills me is that giant one that's advertised on tv. I'd kill my husband if he ever bought me that monstrosity. I wouldn't want it if I had a child.

Years ago they sent me a catalog and the bears were cute but way too expensive. Something like $50 for a smallish bear.
