I been watching Our Miss Brooks and (it is on METV and they don't crunch credits) I see director John Rich. I just find it interesting how long production crew do their work. He did work on the Brady Bunch and All in the Family. Did he work on Dallas too.? Then I see Perry Mason late 1950's and see the name Jackson Gillis. Then tune into the 1990's Columbo and the Jackson's name is there again. When you have 65 years of tv, names pop up. Any of you follow production credit people?

John Rich was also the in-house director for the first season and a half of "The Dick Van Dyke Show" before leaving to direct movies. He would eventually return to directing episodic television as mentioned in your post.
